Recent News/Special Announcements:

For the first time, Austin Peace Academy participated in RoboLab Mania held at National Instruments on May 14^th. This event was a huge success as APA students shared the lime light with other schools in Austin. The students demonstrated their school projects such as Merry-go-round, Gate-Security-System and a Line-follower. More than 1,000 teachers, students, NI volunteers, family, and friends enjoyed this annual showcase of student innovation with RoboLab and LEGO Mindstorms. We are proud of our students and would like to extend our hearty Congratulations for their accomplishments.

About RoboLab: APA has started the initiative to bring RoboLab to it's classrooms. RoboLab comprises of a powerful combination of LEGO bricks and National Instruments LabVIEW graphical development software. RoboLab introduces engineering concepts to students of all ages. The RoboLab software is engineered for the classroom and teaches basic computer programming, robotics, and automation skills.
