On Tuesday, December 1st, Austin Peace Academy students and teachers celebrated EID together by having two special events. The high school and middle school students played paintball while the younger students had a wonderful activity day on the campus. The red team lead in large part by Sr. Diana roundly defeated the blue team captained by Mr. Fareed two games to zero. It was a great day of faculty and student interaction.

The students learned first hand from the paint ball employees how important listening skills are for personal safety. While not all of our students are great listeners they all came home safe and happy. The older students returned to a wonderful cook out sponsored by the Arabic and Islamic studies faculty. In the elementary grades the students had a fun day indoors, out of the rain, playing on inflatable equipment. After a great day of teamwork, the students were ready to get down to serious studies on Wednesday.
