Dear APA Parents,

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh

One of the best events of the year is coming up soon—parent-teacher conferences!  This is one of my favorite events because it gives teachers a chance to talk with each of you in some depth about your child’s education. This fall our conferences will feature three important items:

·         Teachers will discuss student work samples so you can see how your student is progressing in each subject.
·         They will discuss how your student is adjusting to their grade level and participating in the class.
·         They want to hear your comments and questions and explore ways they can help your child learn best.

There will be no school on Friday, October 30th. This day is set aside for parent-teacher conferences. Students should stay at home. The conference schedule is from 9:30a.m. till 3:45p.m. The maximum allocated time per conference is 15 minutes. Please be on time for your scheduled conference and do not exceed your allocated time.

Teachers have sent a schedule with the students. Kindly fill out the form and send it with the teacher or e-mail the teacher directly.

Its important to attend these conferences. Part of student success is parental involvement and showing your child that you care about his or her education. Kindly make every effort to attend.
